Snow in March

Last Friday, when tornadoes were destroying other parts of the state, temperatures were in the 70s, and even into the 80s. This morning we woke up to cold, dry snow and temperatures well below freezing.

Not much good for snowballs, but that didn't stop Liam from trying...

Our barn sat in the midst of a winter wonderland.

It was only the second time this winter that the kids have had a chance to sled.

They made the most of the gentle slope in our backyard.

It was good, powdery snow for making snow angels without getting wet.

With enough packing, it was possible to assemble a snowy projectile that disintegrated on impact.
