Elena helped him improve the fort at the back of the yard that Papa Boo constructed last spring. Notice Liam's wearing flip-flops in February. We haven't had much of a winter.
Elena loves to wear dance clothes and fancy dresses around the house, whether she's practicing cooking...

On Valentine's Day Kiersten took the kids down to the governor's office to protest mountaintop removal coal mining.
There were a few other protestors inside.
Hundreds more gathered at lunch. A few of them had walked hundreds of miles from the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky.
One of the speakers had even come from northern Alberta. She drew parallels between the fights against mountaintop removal in Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia, and tar sands extraction in Alberta.
